Two nursing students receive Beebe Medical Staff Scholarships

May 14, 2014

Danielle LeGates and Thomasina Roe, students at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing, have each received a Beebe Medical Staff Scholarship.

The scholarship recognizes exceptional clinical performance in nursing, in accordance with the criteria established by the Students Services Committee of the School of Nursing. The Beebe Medical Staff created the nursing scholar’s program to support the nursing education of eligible candidates in the Rollins School of Nursing, which includes the candidate’s expressed intention of working in the Beebe community after graduation.

Both LeGates and Roe live in Lewes and plan to seek employment at Beebe. Both are graduating this month. They also plan to continue their education after graduation with an ultimate goal of completing a master’s degree in nursing.
