Sussex Republican women's club to host candidates May 28

The Sussex County Republican Women's Club will host the Republican candidates who are running for office in the primary election Sept. 9, at its May Dinner Meeting, 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, at Baywood Greens Clubhouse, Long Neck. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with and get to know thecandidates.

Reservations are required and may be made by calling Kelly Roberts, 302-945-4556. Cost of the dinner is $25. No reservations will be accepted after May 24. The public is invited to attend.

SCRWC President Alana Keeley said, “It is an honor for us to host many of the women and men who are running for office and dedicate themselves to service on behalf of their constituents. Each will be introduced to the audience and have a few minutes to present their views."

It is the mission of the Sussex County Republican Women's Club to assist in the election of Republican candidates, act as advocates for the Republican Party's principles and to empower women to participate in the political process.
