Highland Heights public hearing postponed

May 14, 2014

The Lewes Planning Commission's public hearing for the proposed Highland Heights subdivision scheduled for tonight has been postponed.

City Manager Paul Eckrich said the city did not comply with the Freedom of Information Act posting location requirement and it was forced to delay the meeting.

The city only became aware of the mistake May 13, Eckrich said.

The meeting will be rescheduled, but no date has been announced yet.

Highland Heights is a proposed 34 single-family home development proposed to be built in a wooded area between West Fourth Street and Seagull Drive.
