May 26, 2014

Meryha Michels and Christina Hanna, two students at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare, have received the Mildred Gray Scholarship, sponsored by the Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach, a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Michels is a senior student and lives in Lewes. Hanna is a first-year student and lives in Milton. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Sussex County resident, be a nontraditional student and have at least a B average in the nursing courses.

“The Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth is pleased and proud to support and encourage the nursing students at the School of Nursing,” said VIA President Carolyn Billingsley. “The Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare offers an outstanding program that is needed in our service area.”
