More flowers planted at Lewes Post Office

June 11, 2014

Bruce Chandler, chairman of the Lewes in Bloom Preserve Our Post Office project, stands in one of the new flower beds at the 100-year-old building in downtown Lewes. Annuals were planted to complement perennials planted in the fall, all part of a project to relandscape the building. An irrigation system is almost complete and lighting will soon be added. “Stay tuned because this project is not over yet,” Chandler said.
