Margaret A. Ooten, loved playing cards

Margaret A. Ooten, 65, of Millsboro, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014, after a long illness.

Mrs. Ooten was born in Delbarton, W.Va. Sept. 3, 1948, to the late Henry P. and Ocie Evans. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Irene Gooden.

Margaret liked to shop on line and loved playing cards. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a daughter, Juanita J. Harris and her husband Tracey of Millsboro; a son, Billy Edward Ooten and his wife Kathy of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, James Harvey Evans and his wife Sandra, and Henry P. Evans Jr.; two sisters, Laura Alice Blankenship and her husband Arnold, and Bertha Welch; eight grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services and burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Margaret’s memory to a charity of your choice.
