Two car crash at Beaver Dam Road and Indian Mission Road
Three people were sent to the hospital after a two car collision May 25 at the intersection of Indian Mission and Beaver Dam roads.
Brinda D. Shah, 22, of Newark was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla southbound on Beaver Dam Road and stopped at the intersection, said Master Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police.
Shah then drove into the path of and collided with a 2008 Kia Sportage driven by Linda J. Koons, 73, of Millsboro who was heading northbound on Indian Mission Road, Fournier said.
Koons, Shah and Shah's 18-year-old sister, who was a passenger, were all properly restrained. They were taking to Beebe Healthcare for nonlife-threatening injuries, Fournier said.
Sussex County paramedics, Indian River and Millsboro fire companies and EMS responded. Delaware State Police helicopter responded but did not airlift anyone.
