George G. Revelle, Long Neck resident

George G. Revelle, 73, of Long Neck, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 25, 2014, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

George was born in Detroit, Mich. Oct. 9, 1940, to the late Myrtle DiPietro and George G. Revelle. He was raised in Philadelphia, Pa. He served five years in the U.S. Navy. He married Margaret A. Wiker ("Peggy") May 9, 1964, and together they had four children.

George is survived by Peggy, his loving and devoted wife of 50 years; his four children, Christine Mahetta (husband Rich), of Seaford, Michelle Revelle of Medford, N.J., Denise Parkhill (husband Tim) of West Chester, Pa. and George Revelle of Agoura Hills, Calif.; his six beautiful grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Jack, Lauren, Ethan and Margo; and his sister Dolores Wilder of Scranton, Pa.

Family and friends are welcome to George's memorial service at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 31, at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road Mount Laurel, N.J. 08054.
