Heirloom Wealth Advisors donate to Epworth Skate Project

June 8, 2014

Thomas McGlone, managing partner of Heirloom Wealth Advisors, recently donated $1,000 to Epworth Skate Project. “I am proud to be a member of such a generous community. This group identified a need for our youth, strategized and accomplished the goal. All of the steps of a good investment,” said McGlone.

The skate project began raising funds to build a concrete skate park in August of last year. The group is very near their goal of $75,000. The park will be built on the perimeter of Epworth UM Church’s parking lot on Holland Glade Road in Rehoboth and will be open to the public. Construction is expected to begin in July.

“We are very happy that Mr. McGlone knows the value of investing in the youth of our community,” said Skate Project member Tricia Ratner. McGlone is a candidate for mayor of Rehoboth Beach in the 2014 election. For more information about the Skate Project, go to www.eumcrb.org/sk8 or call Ratner at 302-745-4131.
