A 70-year-old Selbyville man has pleaded guilty to harvesting undersized blue crabs without a commercial crabbing license.

Ronald T. Cagle Sr. was illegally harvesting blue crabs out of Roy's Ditch near Fenwick Island, said Senior Cpl. Carl Winckoski of the Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement.

On May 24, agents charged Cagle with two counts of commercial crabbing for blue crabs without a Delaware commercial crabbing license, two counts of possession of undersized blue crabs, and three counts each of exceeding the crab pot limit and improperly marked crab pots, Winckoski said.

Cagle pleaded guilty to all charges during an appearance at Justice of the Peace Court 3 in Georgetown. He paid $360 in fines and court costs, Winkoski said.
