Lewes man charged with boating under the influence

A 68-year-old Lewes man was charged May 25 with boating while intoxicated.

Edward F. Keyser was involved in a boating accident on the Indian River Bay, said Sr. Cpl. Carl Winckoski of the Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement.

Keyser was charged with operating a vessel under the influence of alcohol and operating an unsafe vessel. He was released pending a court appearance at a later date.
