Shields students create and donate game to Prime Hook

June 8, 2014

Fifth grade students in Brandi Townsend’s class at Shields Elementary School in Lewes  have put finishing touches on their board game, To The Beach and Back. Tommy Taylor, left, and Landon Rockwell designed the game to teach interesting facts about the horseshoe crab as part of a language arts lesson and are now donating it to the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge’s Education Center to help other students learn about local ecology.
