A City Cab Taxi rear-ended a car June 6 causing a four-car reaction on Route 1.
A 30-year-old man was driving a 2005 Dodge van taxi at about 7 p.m. near Big Fish Grill when he struck the rear of a 1995 Lincoln town Car, said Master Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police.
The impact pushed the Lincoln into the rear of a 2005 Honda Accord, which in turn struck the rear of a 2004 Nissan Maxima, Fournier said.
The 62-year-old driver of the Lincoln and a 35-year-old passenger were taken to Beebe Healthcare with minor injuries.
The taxi driver was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
