PIZZA OUTSIDE THE BOX

What’s a Plant-Based Grandma to do with 2 hungry grandsons?  Make pizza “outside the box”, of course. Here’s what Adam and Jacob did:

4 100% whole wheat, no oil, pita rounds

Pizza sauce with no added oil to spread on 2 rounds

Assortment of raw and cooked veggies (sliced cooked potatoes, raw squash rounds, whole kernel corn, olive slices, baby kale leaves, cooked kidney beans, onion slices)

Apple butter with no added sugar or high fructose corn syrup to spread on 2 rounds

Assortment of fresh fruit for fruit pizzas (strawberries, blueberries, bananas)

Place in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.

Yum!

Good for the whole family.

NO MEAT, NO DAIRY, NO OIL, NO PROBLEM!
