Over Father's Day weekend, six teams of friends and family members gathered in Canalfront Park in the shadow of the Lightship Overfalls to build Bevin's skiffs. Sponsored annually by the Lewes Historical Society – and with the help and careful working hands of the society's wooden boat volunteer crews – the fifth annual boat building took place June 13-15. Launch day on June 15 went off without a hitch.
