Mini Bear Productions will present The Glimmer Twins, a Rolling Stones tribute band, in a benefit concert for Cancer Support Community Delaware Saturday, July 26, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9.

The Rolling Stones, now in their 50th year, have long been hailed as The Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World. But before they became the corporate machine that they are sometimes referred to as today, they earned this title by wowing audiences worldwide with some of the most electrifying performances in the history of rock 'n' roll.

This tribute concert will benefit Cancer Support Community in Sussex County, Delaware.  The Cancer Support Community Delaware's mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.  It is the only organization in Delaware dedicated exclusively to helping people cope with and manage the emotional aspects of cancer.  It also focuses on the cancer participants’ families and/or caregivers, including children and teenagers.

Professionally led programs provide emotional support, education and hope. All Cancer Support Community programs are offered free of charge. In addition, all funds raised in Sussex County stay in Sussex County to help family and friends who are coping with cancer.

Tickets for The Glimmer Twins are on sale now. To purchase tickets for July 26, call 302-645-9150 or go to July 26 is also Mick Jagger’s birthday!
