Filmmakers donate proceeds from local film to historical society

Producer Alan Burkhard and Writer/Director/Actor Chris Malinowski of Myatin Filmworks presented a film screening May 31 at the Movies at Midway of "Yes, Your Tide is Cold and Dark, Sir" to benefit the Lewes Historical Society.

"Yes, Your Tide is Cold and Dark, Sir" has played at the Chain NYC Film Festival; the Timecode: NOLA Film Festival in New Orleans, La.; the London International Film Festival; the Wilmington Film Festival; and at the American Film Market in Los Angeles, Calif.

The film was shot in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach in winter 2011 on a budget of $150,000. "Yes, Your Tide..." will be available at Amazon.com in August for streaming, download, and DVD.  Chris Malinowski, left, presents $200 of the proceeds from the screening to Lewes Historical Society Executive Director Mike DiPaolo.
