Lisa F. Ellis, Lewes native

Lisa F. Ellis, 68, of Alexandria, Va., died Friday, June 20, 2014.

She is survived by her three daughters and their families: Kimberly Ellis and Giovanni Gorgone and daughter, Giuliana, of Reston, Va., Whitney Ellis Yenesel, Ron Yenesel and daughter, Bryn, of Reston, and Megan Ellis and Jason Hough of Clear Brook, Va. She is also survived by her longtime companion, Paul Petefish, of Alexandria; her sisters, Patricia Droney of Millville and Kathleen "Kit" Crouch and brother-in-law, Ron Crouch, of New Bern, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lambert and Virginia "Jinny" Foulk; nephew, Christopher Droney; brother-in-law, Thomas "Tim" Droney; and Kenneth Ellis, the father of her three daughters.

Lisa was born in Lewes, April 10, 1946. She grew up in Seaford and has resided in Northern Virginia since 1968. She will be fondly remembered as a beautiful, dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and neighbor.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 10, at 2 p.m, at St. Anne's Episcopal Church 1700 Wainwright Dr., Reston, Va. A celebration of life will follow at Vinifera, 11750 Sunrise Valley Dr. in Reston.
