The Peninsula Club and Rehoboth Art League partner for show

July 3, 2014

The Rehoboth Art League and The Peninsula Golf & Country Club opened an RAL members’ art show in the exclusive Lakeside Village Terrace Grille on May 10.

“We are thrilled that members and guests of the club will have an opportunity to see works by our members.” said Sheila Bravo, RAL executive director.

“Our club members and their guests have expressed interest in art programs here at Peninsula," said Peninsula General Manager Donald DeMasters. “And it seemed a great opportunity to partner with the art league to make it happen.” Local artists in this pioneering exhibit include Jean Bowers, Anne Crown-Cyr, Jan Crooker, Kim Klabe, John Major, Steve Rogers, Aina Nergaard Nammack, and Dale Sheldon. Similar to other art league exhibitions, the works on display will be up for several weeks, with new exhibitions following.

The Rehoboth Art League is a membership-based nonprofit arts organization dedicated to teaching, preserving and inspiring the arts in the region. For additional information on the art league, its classes, events and exhibitions, visit rehobothartleague.org or call 302-227-8408. Its programs are made possible, in part, by grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Peninsula Golf & Country Club is managed by Troon Privé, the private club division of Troon.
