The Milton 9-10-year-old All-Stars downed the Lewes squad 14-0 as the Little League All-Star season kicked off June 27 at the Lewes field.
Milton pitcher Chase Boyle pitched four innings allowing just one hit; he had four strike-outs. Ty Husbands, Brian Sponaugle, Nick Cox and Malikye Wells each had two hits. Hunter Rauch, Ty Husbands, Chase Boyle, Nick Cox and Malikye Wells scored two runs each. Boyle slammed a double in the contest.
Carson Kammerer had the lone hit for Lewes.
Milton went on to defeat Lower Sussex 7-0 June 28 to advance in the winner's bracket. The team was slated to face off with Millsboro June 30. The 9-10 tournament will run through July 5 or 6.
