VFW 7447 honors Cape Henlopen U.S. Army JROTC

In a small ceremony held June 28 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7447 in Rehoboth Beach, Post 7447 Men's Auxiliary President Ed Shafer honored the Cape Henlopen High School JROTC with a monetary donation of $500.
The ceremony and donation were held to thank the JROTC program for the members' hard work with the Home of the Brave II for Women Veterans in Milford to prepare it for its initial opening and for their work with community service activities this past school year.
At the commendation are (l-r) Shafer, auxiliary members Paul Hitchens and Don Mastracco and Cadet Alex Dominick.
