Lewes cancels two July Fourth events

The prediction of rain in the morning and high winds in the afternoon have prompted the canceling of two Lewes 4th of July events. The old-fashioned games on Second Street that are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. have been canceled. Due to expected high winds, the Lewes 4^th of July boat parade at 2 p.m. also has been canceled. Neither event will be rescheduled.
