The prediction of rain in the morning and high winds in the afternoon have prompted the canceling of two Lewes 4th of July events. The old-fashioned games on Second Street that are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. have been canceled. Due to expected high winds, the Lewes 4th of July boat parade at 2 p.m. also has been canceled. Neither event will be rescheduled.
