Rehoboth fireworks to go off as planned July 4
July 4, 2014

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Sussex County. Radar shows 1.3 to 2.5 inches of rain have already fallen in the Milton to Georgetown area.

This warning means flooding may already be occurring. Drivers are warned not to drive into areas where water covers the road.

Rehoboth officials announced on July 3 that fireworks would take place as planned July 4.

Milton activities will take place Saturday, July 5.

In Lewes, the children's games and boat parade set for July 4 have been cancelled.
