Photography for Wellness July 29 at Cancer Support Community

July 15, 2014

The Cancer Support Community-Delaware will offer Art HOPE: Photography For Wellness at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, at its Sussex facility. Pamela Montague, photographer and social worker, will engage participants to explore and recognize the important benefits of photography. She will help them creatively construct stationery to share with loved ones or to acknowledge support, inspiration, energy, or guidance. Participants can select from Montague's inspiring collection of photographs called Sand Scripts or use photographs of their own.

Photography for Wellness is part of the Art HOPE - Healing Opportunities for Personal Expression - series. This program is made possible, in part, by the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.

Those interested can call 302-645-9150 in advance to reserve a spot. All programs offered at CSC are free of charge to people affected by cancer and their loved ones. The Sussex facility is at 18947 John J. Williams Highway, Suite 312, Rehoboth.
