Anna LaMacchia, 68, of Millsboro, formerly of Delaware County, Pa., passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md.
Anna was born in Germany April 13, 1946, and became a U.S. citizen March 29, 1967. She attended school at Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia, Pa. and Dobbins Tech in Philadelphia. She worked and retired from Boeing in Pennsylvania as a composite fabricator, retiring six years ago.
She enjoyed spoiling her pets, needlepoint, golfing, fishing, traveling, cooking, laughing, spending time with her family, shopping with her sisters, participating in bowling leagues, her annual Fourth of July parties and keeping Ronnie straight.
She is gone too soon and heaven has gained an angel to watch over her loved ones. She is survived by her significant other, Ronald A. Jackson; a daughter, Linda Browning; three sisters, Kathy Sampson, Jennie DePasquale and Terry Coates; a son, Todd Jackson; and her beloved grandchildren.
A prayer service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 12, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro. Interment will be private.
