Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber holds ribbon cutting for Shell We Bounce

July 19, 2014

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 23 for Shell We Bounce. Members of the chamber’s Meet & Greet Committee were present to welcome Shell We Bounce to the organization.

Located at 20699 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach, Shell We Bounce opened its bright aqua doors June 4, providing a new and exciting indoor activity for children at the beach. With six different types of Inflatables, from a Zoo Inflatable for children under the age of 5 to a 65-foot double slide obstacle course for the older ones, Shell We Bounce isn’t the average bounce house center.

Run by a husband-and-wife team who have young children, Shell We Bounce is geared toward good clean, safe fun. “We try to have a little something for everybody,” says Julie Derrick, owner. Toddler Tuesdays run from 10 a.m. to noon, providing an opportunity for children 5 and under to receive a reduced admission for two hours of bouncing and a free snack. On Friday nights, preteens and teens are welcome to bounce, extending the 11-and-under age limit to include older children.  Parent’s Night Out on Saturdays is very popular; parents can drop off their children from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for bouncing fun. Children receive Grotto Pizza, ice cream and complete a group craft activity.

With free Wi-Fi and comfortable seating for adults, Shell We Bounce aims for everyone to have a good time. In addition to welcoming walk-ins, they host memorable birthday parties complete with onsite personal birthday party assistant to help make the day not only special, but hassle-free for moms and dads.

Shell We Bounce will be open year round.  Current hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday. These hours will last through Labor Day. For more information call 302-727-5416 or visit www.shellwebounce.com.
