Dance Academy student receives full scholarship to Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet

A local student from First State Dance Academy in Milford has received a full scholarship to study year round with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Owen Lawson, 15, of Milton, auditioned and was accepted to study during his high school years with CPYB.
Lawson is one of three students from FSDA, under the direction of Michele Xiques, to recently become accepted to one of the top dance academies in the country.
Anna Edmonson is currently studying at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C., and Ian Boyan is a recent graduate of Pittsburgh Ballet School and has received a full scholarship for its pre-professional program.
