Sam Cooper is a proven effective leader

August 1, 2014

I write to support strongly the re-election of Sam Cooper as mayor of Rehoboth Beach. I have worked closely with him on developing a solution to our wastewater disposal problem, and on creating a plan for new facilities for our police and for our city employees.

Under his leadership numerous experts, fellow commissioners and many members of the public have provided knowledge, suggestions and opinions during years of meetings.

Each step of these projects has required education, analysis and compromise to reach a broad consensus, and the resulting decisions of the commissioners have been unanimous. It is very hard to imagine a more effective leader than Sam Cooper for meeting the needs of our community.

Bill Sargent
commissioner of Rehoboth Beach
