As the Rehoboth Beach election comes near, I'm gratified that we have so many qualified individuals willing to put themselves up for election to these often thankless positions as mayor and council members. It does seem to me though that some office holders have been in a long time, and I think its time they moved over, took credit for all the great work they've done in the past, and let some new blood join the conversation.
I love Rehoboth, and think its a great place to live, but there is always room for new ideas and fresh energy. I've met Tom McGlone, and I am convinced he is a smart, thoughtful and balanced man, and I think he is the perfect choice to assume the mayor's office and move the city forward. Please join with me in saying yes to change, yes to progress, and yes to Tom McGlone August 9.
