Police seek Burger King robber

Georgetown police are searching for a man they say used a knife Aug. 1 to rob a Georgetown Burger King.

The man entered the Burger King in the 400 block of DuPont Highway at 8:45 a.m., said Det. Bradley A. Cordrey of the Georgetown Police Department.

He pulled out a knife and demanded cash from the employees, Cordrey said. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police describe the man as black, 5-feet-7-inches to 5-feet-10-inches tall with an average build. He was wearing a light-blue shirt; a black, zip-up jacket; black pants; and a black hat.
