August 3, 2014

Troopers have arrested the two suspects involved in the Aug. 1 theft of a purse from a vehicle parked at Kids Cottage on Wolf Neck Road, Rehoboth, after information was initially received through the Delaware State Police Crime Tip Application.

A 16-year-old Lewes male and a 17-year-old Milton male were arrested today, Aug. 3, after information was developed when an anonymous tipster provided one of the teenagers name through the DSP Crime Tip app.

A second anonymous tip was received by Master Corporal Gaglione via voicemail which provided the second suspect's information. The two juveniles were contacted at their residences and transported to Troop 7 where they were formally charged with Theft Under $1,500.00 and Conspiracy 3rd.

The 16 year old male was additionally charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after he was found to be in possession of the substance while being taken into custody.

The 16 year old male was incarcerated at William Marion Stevenson House Detention Center in Milford on $2,000.00 secured bond, while the 17-year-old was released to the custody of his parents pending a hearing in Family Court.
