Tickets on sale Aug. 9 for Milford's Eat in the Street event Sept. 21
Downtown Milford Inc. announces the Second Annual Eat in the Street will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 21. Tickets go on sale at the Riverwalk Farmers Market at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 9, in downtown Milford. They will be sold only at the farmers market each following Saturday until all tickets are gone. Tickets can be purchased with cash or check made payable to Downtown Milford Inc.
Tickets cost $75 per person and are limited to 100 guests for a four-course meal and entertainment all taking place right down the center of Walnut Street.
The event’s locally sourced menu has been designed by chefs and restaurant owners from Georgia House, Abbott’s Grill, Dolce Bakery and Verde: The Italian Cooking School. Milford’s Riverwalk Farmers Market will supply local produce. There will be beer pairings by Mispillion River Brewing and others to be announced.
Entertainment will be by the faculty from the Music School of Delaware and Matt Lafferty and friends, with additional performances by other local artists.
In case of rain, the event will be held at the Milford Senior Center, which is an event sponsor. Other sponsors include Bella Terra Landscaping, Pat Emory, All-Span, Growmark, The Milford Chronicle and BayHealth.
