Second Street Players announces 2015 schedule

Call for directors closes Sept. 1

The Second Street Players announces its upcoming 2015 season. With this announcement, the group is also putting out a call for directors for each show. Second Street Players is at the Riverfront Theater in Milford. The season consists of five Main Stage shows, three Children's Dessert Theater shows and a summer Street Kids performance.

Anyone interested in being a director should submit a letter of interest to ssptickets@verizon.net, along with name of show he/she wishes to direct. All inquires must be in writing and submitted by Monday, Sept. 1. All directors will be approved by the Second Street Players Board of Directors.

2015 Main Stage productions and dates are as follows: “Inherit The Wind” by Jerome Lawrence: Feb. 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22; “Spamalot” - Monty Python: April 24, 25, 26; May 1, 2, and 3; “Faith County - Somewhere in the Middle of Nowhere” by Mark Landon Smith: July 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19; “Noises Off” by Michael Frayn: Sept. 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27; and “A Christmas Story” by Jean Shepherd: Nov. 27, 28 and 29.

2015 Children's Dessert Theater shows and dates are “Peter Pan”: March 6, 7 and 8; “Cinderella's Glass Slipper”: May 22, 23, and 24; “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”: Oct. 9, 10, and 11.

2015 Summer Street Kids production of “James and Giant Peach” will be presented July 31 and Aug. 1 and 2.
