Heidi Lowe Gallery to host opening for jewelry show Aug. 9

Heidi Lowe Gallery will host an opening for a new jewelry show, Home, featuring work by Courtney Kemp and Karen Vanmol. The opening will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.

“Both artists use materials from the home as a starting place from which to make jewelry,” gallery owner Lowe said. “Vanmol finds inspiration in the architecture and nature around us and physically collects materials from her surroundings to create her work. Kemp sources architectural details and home utility objects to make jewelry that is fresh, new, and wearable.”

Heidi Lowe Gallery’s summer hours are 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. daily at 328 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. The gallery specializes in jewelry made by studio artists and features Lowe’s innovative work as well as jewelry from artists from all over the country.
