Conley’s Thrift Shop supports Alzheimer’s Association

August 17, 2014

The Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter recently presented the co-managers and some of the volunteers at Conley’s Thrift Shop with a plaque in great appreciation for their continued support.

The thrift shop is at 22150 Robinsonville Road near Lewes at the old chapel. Many volunteers run the shop, and the church regularly allows them to choose a charity to which to donate profits.

The Alzheimer’s Association has been the recipient many times in the past few years and greatly appreciates the volunteers' hard work and generosity.

The donations fund local programs and services for the association that benefit those suffering with Alzheimer’s and related disorders, and their families and care partners.

Proudly displaying the plaque are (l-r) Mary Ann Opatt; Barbara Sheesley; Pat Vogt, co-manager; Nancy McMinn; Ann Glass; Pat Short, co-manager; Pat Whittaker; Carole Harbaugh and Linda Cresmer.
