I have been a member of the Cape Henlopen Senior Center for three years. I have experienced bad behavior by Executive Director Leslie Boehlert.
For example, I witnessed Ms. Boehlert yelling at the activity coordinator then slamming her door. Another example is Ms. Boehlert yelling at the center’s driver and reducing the driver to tears.
Finally, Ms. Boehlert discouraged me from volunteering at the center.
This behavior is upsetting and makes me and others question why an executive director is needed.
