August 16, 2014

Meals on Wheels of Lewes & Rehoboth homebound meal program, delivering over 100,000 meals each year to clients living in eastern Sussex County, announced it has entered into a new partnership with Fish On Restaurant in Lewes. After an extensive search to find a new venue for meal production, Meals on Wheels of Lewes & Rehoboth and the owners of Fish On have joined forces to begin providing home-delivered meals as of Oct. 1 to homebound residents living in the community.

Regarding this recent partnership, Scott Kammerer, president of Matt Haley Companies, said, “The Matt Haley Companies are committed to being a positive force in the local community and throughout the world. We are excited and honored to be chosen as a partner with Meals on Wheels to provide healthy meals to our neighbors. We will strive to deliver high-quality, local ingredients to our clients in the way that Matt Haley and his 24 other Delaware businesses have become known for.”

Meals on Wheels of Lewes & Rehoboth Board of Directors President Bob Derrickson said, “We are very excited about this alliance and are looking forward to working with Matt Haley, Scott Kammerer and their associates. Their professionalism along with quality of product and service is rejuvenating and should prove to be enlivening for all concerned, especially our meal recipients.”
