Dorothy S. Holland, nursing home administrator

Dorothy S. Holland, 90, of Lewes, passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at  Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Lewes. She was born Oct. 2, 1923, in Richmond, Va., daughter of the late Earle and Ida (Holdcroft) Sibley.

Mrs. Holland enjoyed a career in the nursing home field, retiring as a nursing home administrator.

Mrs. Holland is survived by her four children: Linda Tamasi and her husband Charles of Burke, Va., William S. Holland of Atlanta, Ga., Constance Holdridge and her husband Jim of Lewes, and Dane Holland and his wife Cindy of Newark; eight grandchildren: Corey Koneczny, Karen Wolf and her husband Justin, Adam Holland, Tonia Usher and her husband Rob, James Holdridge Jr. and his wife Amanda, Christopher Holdridge and his wife Megan, Michael Holdridge and Troy Holland; and eight great-grandchildren.

There will be a private memorial service for the immediate family at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
