WSFS named Top Workplace for ninth year in a row
WSFS Financial Corporation, the parent company of WSFS Bank, announced it has been ranked on The News Journal's 2014 Top Workplaces list for the ninth consecutive year. Ninety-six companies across Delaware participated in the Top Workplaces survey, which has been analyzing Delaware's business community for the past 15 years. The Top 60 were recognized in three categories: Top 10 Large, Top 25 Midsize, and Top 25 Small employers.
This year, WSFS was ranked third in the Large company category and, for the sixth year in a row, was ranked in the Top 3. In addition, WSFS received the Training Award based on receiving the highest score on the question “I get the formal training I want for my career” across all companies participating in the survey. The Top Workplaces survey evaluates companies in the following categories: direction, execution, connection, my work, my manager, and my pay & benefits based on employee participation.
“We are excited to be recognized for the ninth consecutive year as a Top Workplace in Delaware,” said Mark A. Turner, president and CEO of WSFS Bank. “We thank all our associates and our board of directors for creating a workplace environment that allows us to be acknowledged in this way; and we thank our customers, business partners and community partners for making it all possible.”
Serving the Delaware Valley since 1832, WSFS is the seventh-oldest bank in the United States continuously operating under the same name. For more information, go to wsfsbank.com.
