Tickets now available for On Stage Harrington entertainment series

The entertainment department at Harrington Raceway and Casino announces a new entertainment series, On Stage - Harrington, will start in October and will feature a wide range of entertainment.

The acts will be presented in two property venues, the Gold Room and the Exhibit Hall, and will encompass several genres including contemporary and veteran country, classic '70s funk and soul, comedy, tribute acts, oldies, Motown and a legendary performer who regularly sells out appearances in casinos all over the country.

Upcoming performances include the following: 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3, in the Exhibit Hall is Dustin Lynch, one of the latest break-out performers on the country scene. His self-titled debut album hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums charts in 2012. His hit song, “Cowboys and Angels,” exceeded platinum sales status and ended the year as one of Billboard’s Top 5 country songs of the year. Tickets are $29. Showtime is 8 p.m. This show is for all ages.

At 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, the Average White Band takes the stage in the Exhibit Hall. In the musically electrifying years between 1974 and 1980, the Average White Band pioneered the fusion of soul and disco hits by one band and quickly became a popular name in the music industry during that era. Tickets are $29. The show is for all ages.
