James Steven Fox, loving son

James Steven Fox, 42, formerly of Medford, N.J., and recently of Millsboro, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at Christiana Hospital in Newark.

He was born in Camden, N.J. He was a loving son, who was quick witted, had a bright smile whenever he entered a room, and a kind heart. He loved soccer, was an Eagles fan, avid reader and a History Channel buff. He was a loving uncle, easy going and never held a grudge.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanne Schwartz, and his stepfather, Jack Schwartz; and his father, James Arden Fox and his stepmother, Victoria Fox. In addition, he is survived by a sister, Kellie Noonan and her husband, George; and two nieces: Ashley Wood and Aly Noonan; along with aunts, cousins, extended family and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28, at Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Route 24 (John J. Williams Highway) at 11 a.m., where friends may call one hour prior for visitation. Father James Downs is the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Vincent DePaul, 202 Edward St., Georgetown, DE 19947.
