Jacqueline 'Jackie' Quinn, Columbiettes past president

Jacqueline “Jackie” Clark Quinn, 78, of Long Neck, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, after a long illness. She was born in Darby, Pa., graduated from Sharon Hill, Pa. High School and lived in Folcroft, Pa. before moving to Long Neck. Before retiring she worked at Mobil Oil, Bell of Pennsylvania, Topps, Woolco, and most recently at Lingo Bus Transportation and Hoffner School Bus.

She enjoyed crafting, doll collecting, taking care of her pets and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a former member of the Sharon Hill American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and an active member and past president of the Bishop Burke Council Columbiettes.

She is survived by her husband Gerald P. Quinn; children. Timothy Quinn (Theresa) of Oxford, Pa., Gerald T. Quinn (Renee) of Ridley Park, Pa. and Melissa Rossney (Kurt) of Prospect Park, Pa. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday Sept. 3, at Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church, 30839 Mount Joy Road, Millsboro, followed by Mass at 11 a.m. A luncheon will be held at noon at  AmVets Post 2, 32369 Long Neck Road, Millsboro. A private interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
