Free Community Health Fair to take place in Georgetown

Beebe Healthcare’s Tunnell Cancer Center and Pilgrim’s Ministry of Deliverance are holding a free community health fair in Georgetown on September 20.

 

The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Ministry’s premises at 25053 DuPont Blvd.  Free flu shots, and blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol screenings will be provided. Information also will be made available about healthy eating and stroke

prevention.

 

 Organizations that will have representatives at the event to answer health question include: Beebe’s Population Health Department; Tunnell Cancer Center; La Esperanza; Delaware Physician’s Care; and La Red.  Barbecued food will be available for purchase.
