The fourth annual Winter Wine Fest, hosted by the Georgetown- Millsboro Rotary Club, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Feb. 18, at the Community CHEER Center in Georgetown.
Organizers anticipate that hundreds of community members will participate in this event to support hurricane relief and many local community projects such as scholarships, Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, Georgetown-Millsboro third grade dictionaries, Red Cross, Little League, local libraries, Christian Storehouse and much more that the club helps support.
Music for the event will be provided by Rough Jazz, hors d’oeuvres by CHEER, and live and silent auction items by many local businesses and community members, auctioneering by Patrick Townsend, fine jewelry from Chardon Jewelry Ltd. and wine and beer tasting by Liquid Assets and Dogfish Head.
Some auction items include artwork by local artists, a decoy by an artist exhibiting at the Ward Museum, an evening at a Phillies game, a gourmet dinner lesson by a well-known chef and a night on the town.
