Weekly assignments will help students put into practice their newly acquired knowledge.
The cost is $140 for members and $155 for nonmembers, with a materials fee of $85 for a supply package, payable to the instructor at the first class.
Students taking the intermediate class must have completed a prior basic watercolor course before enrolling in this class. Students will be challenged to strengthen their basic skills and will focus on composition and watercolor techniques. Painting water, glass, textures, fabric and other subjects will be explored. Students should bring their watercolor supplies to the first class; in addition, they will need a 9x12 inch or larger sketch book, and four sheets of Arches 22”x 30” 140 lb. cold-press, watercolor paper. The paper and other supplies can be purchased in the first class.
