Bayhealth Medical Center’s Tobacco Cessation Program is a seven-week series that offers the support and guidance people need to stop using tobacco for the rest of their lives.
The program recommends behavior modification, exercise, diet, stress reduction and nicotine replacement therapy. In addition, the program focuses on relapse prevention with a long-term plan for success.
The next series will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesdays, in the Milford Hospital Rehabilitation conference room, beginning Nov. 5. The cost for the entire series is $25 for the public; it is free for Bayhealth employees.
The program is made possible through the Division of Public Health’s Community Contract.
Funding for the contract is provided by the Delaware Health Fund and managed by the American Lung Association of Delaware.
