Anyone who has been touched by cancer knows that it can be both an emotionally and physically devastating experience. For the thousands of people in Delaware whose lives have been touched by cancer, TWC-D is a vital partner in their fight for recovery.

The Sussex County branch of TWC-D provides free support and education programs countywide to more than 300 participants per month.

The organization offers a strong support network that allows people to discuss their mutual concerns, stress management and nutrition programs, art therapy and a variety of educational workshops.

The Wellness Community-Delaware is part of an international nonprofit organization that provides support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. Through participation in professionally led support groups, educational workshops and mind/body classes, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of disease. At TWC-D, all programs are free of charge. More information about The Wellness Community is available at www.wellnessdelaware.org.

The price of liberty is eternal vigilance.
