Girl Scouts to host ceramic activity Nov. 21
The Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council invites all girls in kindergarten to 12th grades and adults to participate in a ceramics activity from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Scout Hut, 219 W. State St., Millsboro.

For a $10 fee, girls can choose to make a lighted snowflake, snowman or tree. Attendees should register by Tuesday, Nov. 10, by contacting Tammy Fox at 302-947-4746.

The council will also sponsor a cheerleading clinic for girls from kindergarten to fifth grade from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at Lake Forest High School in Felton. The Lake Forest High School varsity cheerleading squad will be the instructors. Activities will include stretching, tumbling, arm movements, chants, dance and building skills.

The cost is $25 per girl. Attendees should wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes and bring a bag lunch and drink. Water will be provided.

Financial assistance is available.

Girls do not have to be Girl Scouts to register for the camp.
