| The 10th Anniversary Miss Harbeson Pageant was held recently at the Henlopen Ruritan Club, with the pageant and founders Executive Director Pam Prettyman and Nicole Prettyman, along with the Ruritan Club, honored with proclamations from the Delaware House of Representatives for their vision in helping with educational needs in the community.
More than $8,000 has been raised over the past decade.
The title of Little Miss Harbeson was awarded to Tori Banning; the title of Young Miss Harbeson went to Emma Dukes. Mallory Nielsen took the Junior Miss Harbeson crown, while Kaitlyn Rogers was named Teen Miss Harbeson.
Guests and entertainers included Miss Delaware 2009 Heather Lehman, who also served as emcee, Delaware Apple Queen Nicole Prettyman, Teen Miss Harbeson 2008 Sara Penny, Little Miss Harbeson 2003 and Young Miss Harbeson 2008 Mallory Nielsen, Little Miss Harbeson 2008 Megan Sterling, Teen Miss Harbeson 2007 Cortney Ward, Junior Miss Harbeson Rytasi Bridell, Little Miss Harbeson 2006 Amberlie Rice; and Little Miss Harbeson Princess 2002 Morgan Trythall.
