Colter Construction Inc. of Milton recently announced Heather Holt has joined its staff as a sales and marketing manager.
Holt was awarded the 2008 Rookie of the Year Regal Award through the National Association of Home Builders in Delaware. In addition, Holt was inducted to the Million Dollar Club in 2008, at the silver level, for personal sales exceeding $3 million.
Holt’s decision to join the Colter Construction team was not a coincidence. She comes from a sales background and most recently specialized in high-performance, energy-efficient homes. She was previously employed by a green building firm, so when introduced to Colter Construction Inc., she knew what to look for in an energy-efficient home.
“I am amazed by the level that Terrance has taken his vision to...” stated Holt, referring to Terrance Babbie, owner of Colter Construction Inc.
“I come from one of the top green building firms in the industry, but when I saw the specifications that Colter includes with their homes, and the reports reflecting the HERS [home energy rating system] scores on Colter Construction’s homes, I was blown away,” said Holt.
HERS scores measure the energy efficiency of a home. Colter Construction Inc. homes are third-party tested and verified. Currently, Colter Construction has received the best energy rating or HERS scores for a home in Delaware.
Holt works in the sales office at Colter’s model home in Sandstone, a Colter community just north of Milton.
